Robert James Pasternak has woven himself in and out of the comics medium since the early 80's, flying out with Holy Crow published by Jeff Gaither, then the Acid man Society Comix published by Clay Geerdes' Comic Wave. He has contributed to gallery shows of this work and was part of the Misfit Lit  touring exhibit. His comix have been published in comic anthologies from Finland, Mecedonia, the U.S. and was a regular contributor to the homespun anthology Sunburn (1996-2001). His work has travelled with the Bookmobile out of Montreal and a large collection of his work can be found in the ESPA library. Pasternak continues to self publish Acid Man Society (36 issues to date) while his new title Saysome explores new inklings. Robert's work has been featured in Fogel's Underground Comix price guide, Broken Pencil magazine, OnSpec and the Treasury of Mini Comics published by Fantagraphics in 2013. Robert likes to package his art and comics in unique but familiar hand crafted novelties through the Nacfactorium. Currently he is working on a collection of diversely stylized Abstract Comix. Robert lives in Winnipeg.
